This is who we are:

We are the Eickelberg family; Stuart, Amy, Elijah, Elliot, Judah, Malachi, and of course, Truman. Never in our wildest dreams did we think owning a bike shop was part of the plan, but that’s the funny thing about plans. They typically have quite a few detours and plenty of surprises along the way. In the summer of 2020, we sold our house in Hudsonville, gave away all our earthly possession (besides our bikes and scooters,) and decided to travel the country in an RV. The following November we were struck head on while travelling to the east coast, and this devastating wreck changed the course of our lives. For a multitude of reasons, we were no longer able to complete our scheduled travels and fulfill the original dream. However, so much goodness came from our alternative plans. We ended up in Ludington for the interim, which is Stuart’s hometown, and then we decided to never leave. Stu and the boys have loved biking for a very long time. Our four boys are also very big on scooters. They have scootered under highways at DIY skate parks in New Orleans, spent time perfecting their skills in downtown Houston, and fell in love with the half pipes of Louisville. They have mountain biked through the Texas hill country, the tropics of the Florida Keys, and the rocky terrain of the Ozarks. Both biking and scootering have played a crucial role in our families lives the past 4 years. It has meant time together as a family that otherwise would have been spent apart. We lived for several months in Bentonville, AR and witnessed firsthand how biking brings family's and communities and strangers together.  It is our hope and dream to bring that to the people we serve in our community.

Of course there's a shop dog!
