Every Jamis youth bike uses size-specific items like grips, saddles and cranks that enhance comfort and control by providing the best possible bike fit. We focus on designing frames with low stand-overs to take much of the awkwardness out of getting on board and dismounting after. We trim as much weight as we can with lightweight aluminum frames on many of the youth models and use aluminum parts where possible (the limiting factor here is working within a youth-bike-appropriate price point) to work towards that make-it-as-light-as-possible goal.

Built with a lightweight aluminum frame, plenty of stand-over clearance, and easy-to-use gears, this is the rigid version (no front suspension) of the XtC Jr. family. With 20-inch wheels and smooth-rolling tires that can handle the trail, it's a fun and stable way to get started on the trail. Made with a gusset-free ALUXX-Grade Aluminum frame, the STP has a low stand-over and saddle height with a taller front end, so she can be stable in corners and balanced over rollers. Disc brakes give her the confidence to stop quickly, and this model is available with or without a front suspension fork to suit different riding styles and terrain. With fun and lively colors and graphics, young riders will love jumping on and riding in style. The STP is also compatible with dropper seatposts for those riders who are ready for next steps.
